Want to try a great mood-boosting exercise? Grab a sheet of paper and jot down 25 things that make you happy, and the reasons why they make you happy. This doesn’t have to take a long time, so you should be able to squeeze it in in just a few minutes.

Here’s an example:

25 Things That Make Me Happy

1) My favorite music. Whenever I listen to my favorite music, I can’t help but sing along and bounce around in my seat . . . or even get up and dance!

2) Funny commercials on TV. Some of them are so darn clever, they really make me laugh!

3) Enjoying a delicious latte before work. They are soooo good, I enjoy every single sip!

Keep going until you’ve got 25 items on your list and before you know it, you’ll actually FEEL happy because you are focusing on all that good stuff.
